Summer Plants

These plants produce fruits and berries and provide cover for wildlife. This includes trees, shrubs, aquatic plants vines that produce fruit from June - August. These plants tend to spread and create thickets which provides cover and nesting areas in addition to a food source. These include raspberries, blackberries, wild plum, serviceberries, chokeberries, honeysuckle and others. Mulberry, chokecherries and black cherries are good trees for providing food.
