Cedar Bird Houses

Made from inland cedar using zinc-chromate screws & hardware with brass hinges.

These cedar house are safe, and non-toxic to the birds. No stains, preservatives or pressure treated woods are used. Our birdhouses are designed not only to attract many different species for nesting, but to offer shelter and protection during winter as well.

The inner surface of each birdhouse is "rough cut", allowing the fledglings to easily reach the entrance hole when the time is right. The floors are specially cornered to provide drainage should any water get inside. The sides of each are vented at the top to provide air circulation, and one side is hinged for easy cleaning and monitoring. In addition, we have added a baffle around the entrance hole of the Cottage, to deter predators.  Opens for easy cleaning!

We use screws in the construction, not nails, to provide maximum durability. Each birdhouse has a mounting panel attached to the back with 2 predrilled holes and we supply 2 wood screws for mounting to a pole, tree or other support.
