We currently have no information concerning the butterflies of Hawaii. However, the Hawaii Biological Survey web site includes species checklists in searchable form for all the Lepidoptera available, including basic taxonomic information, island distributions and current status as listed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service for all threatened and endangered species, as well as candidate species (including what used to be called "C2" candidates). Full bibliographies and images are available for selected species. The web site can be found at the address below.
