Inside there are two roosting rafters with 1-3/4 inch entry holes for easy access. The bottom can be easily removed for cleaning. Expertly crafted, conical, shingled roof is capped with a copper trim ring and 4 inch tall, solid brass finial. Exposed wooden rafter tails support the roof and provide authentic detailing. Finished with bright white paint. Includes mounting bracket and screws for easy mounting. Handmade in Mississippi, from select grade Deep Swamp Cypress- no knots, no cracks, absolutely no sapwood, this house will last for generations. Cypress is rated the most durable wood in North America due to its rot resistant qualities. Non toxic to wildlife, these products are as environmentally friendly as they are beautiful.
